I pulled all four spark plugs from the wagon’s 2.2 turbo so I could stop guessing and start testing.

Every plug was very sooty. Plug #1 also had another clue waiting for me.

Today's repair attempt was a real marathon.

I finally went to install LED dash bulbs in the wagon and immediately realized I'd ordered the wrong size.

On the bright side... I now know exactly which ones to buy. 😂

Cleaned up part of the block today & found evidence the wagon has lived a more exciting life than I realized.

Then I found the replacement woodgrain and remembered why I'm doing this in the first place
