"Skirts". No, #BrokenTimes, he disobeys lawful orders, thereby undermining the rule of law in this wounded democracy. Say it.

@jeffjarvis.bsky.social just published a few examples of The Times’ failures - just on one day. Well worth a read to hone your spidey-sense on how the #BrokenTimes is so determined is The Times to deliver its hatchet job.

The #BrokenTimes cannot resist both bothsidesing & trend-making. Just as with Trump's single-handed destruction of democracy (and the economy), they refuse to note, label, explain, and cover the malign intent of one dangerously insane actor. They they cannot cover politics today with any credbility.

#BrokenPost is jealous of the #BrokenTimes intimate relationship with the Pitchbot. Who wrote this? Some guy from the right-wing American Enterprise Institute.

Oh, fuck off, #BrokenTimes. It insists on bothsidesing not a mutual meltdown but one that's entirely the odious Stevens', turning it into "a major fissure coursing through the Democratic Party" and "an embarrassing and potentially costly drama." No, fools, dream on. It's unifying Democrats.

Honestly in shock.

@nytimes.com terminated the contract of romance fiction columnist Olivia Waite because she reposted on Bluesky criticism I and @markjacob.bsky.social had of the paper’s lack of coverage of the new rape allegations against Donald Trump.

Details and a statement from Olivia here:

Aday ago, the #BrokenTimes declared "the very notion of identity politics is in retreat." How wrong. German media are covering America's fight against fascism and bigotry better than our press does. The conservative FAZ called the election "a triumph of diversity."

Why the #BrokenTimes can't stop talking about anybody opposing El-Sayed. The "frank interview" starts over a bowl of matzo-ball soup. Next Stevens will announce that she's both Jewish and Black.

Maybe your own headline should tell you something, #BrokenTimes: If it's hard to predict, maybe you shouldn't try. Prediction is not journalism. It is posing. It does nothing to inform the public. So stop.

NY Times assistant managing editor Patrick Healy gives an unacceptable answer when Marisa Kabas asks him why the NYT's Epstein story this week omitted a new rape accusation against Trump. Healy admits the accuser's past allegations on Trump were deemed credible enough for the Times to print them.
New — Editor Patrick Healy explains to me NYT’s omission of the new rape details shared by Beatrice Keul in their story about the new House Judiciary Dems report released this week:

Start by asking WTH writes their headlines, and does anyone there actually read them back before hitting “publish”??

Confession - I read headlines and sometimes I read articles - and I know I'm not alone. This is why the #BrokenTimes' framing is so dangerous and has so much influence.

Two days before voting, the #BrokenTimes *finally* profiles NJ7's Democrat, @rebeccabennettforcongress.com. But you won't find her on the home page, where her opponent, nepo-Kean, was featured.

The Times had the word available and chose a link instead. This is the same playbook that gave us "sexual abuse" instead of rape for E. Jean Carroll, until the judge said plainly the verdict supports that Trump raped her. The word is available. The #BrokenTimes keeps choosing not to use it.
