#BroodMeddling
Despite 70+ years of legal protection, and over £1 million of public money wasted on years of pantomime ‘partnerships’ and a sham #BroodMeddling trial, #HenHarriers are STILL being killed illegally by many within the UK #grouse shooting industry.

20/20 You decide whether broodmeddling is ending criminality on England's grouse moors.

We did get one answer - MoorlandAss still don't admit the level of crimes against HH. You don't need social science to tell you they are still in denial & criminality is rife on grouse moo

18/20 When pressed on this, NE says they hope that another year of broodmeddling will give robust results. At this rate it is pretty clear it won't. HH still illegally killed in very high numbers, although NE's partners,
MoorlandAss didn't accept that in their interview.

13/20 Caz Graham doesn't sound convinced that all that money is good value & she puts the Wild Justice point that broodmeddling is giving the criminal elements what they want. NE can't convincingly answer that question.

10/20 MoorlandAss thinks that broodmeddling is very sustainable - that's because his members are getting what they want - HH being removed from grouse moors and no effective remedy for killing of these birds.

I'm listening to today's @BBCFarmingToday on Hen Harrier broodmeddling. I'll tweet about that soon.

Wild Justice's decision to wait for all the data to be published for this year's Hen Harrier breeding season still looks right. Back soon.
