Mapulon is Morroyo's Azem. He's named for the Filipino God of the Seasons and Medicine. He was a physician and medical researcher. Mapulon was seriously considered for the seat of Emmerololth instead, but his personality suited Azem's more. Gwydion is named for the legendary Welsh warrior-bard. He was combat trained as a defender of the star, unlike most of the other Ancients. Gwyd is quiet, more brooding, abrupt and some would accuse him of being antisocial. He was nominated for the seat of Nabriales, but he turned it down because he didn't want to deal with the Convocation. He respects Mapulon, even if they don't agree on more than a few things.

I liked Sense & Sensibility (2026) much more than I thought I would. It was a bit Brontë-fied (brooding landscapes and wild hair), Willoughby came across as a wrong ‘un immediately (IMO) and what was up with the dance arrangements? 👀 but Daisy Edgar-Jones & George McKay very good.
