Broomboy lives! Rey is a nobody!

I agree. The *broomboy scene* was good, a nice image for the power of The Jedi Myth, as opposed to the equivocal reality.

Ryan Gosling is Broomboy confirmed.

I mean, Jude Law's character has to be this kid grown up, right?

Beautiful score and setpieces too with a load of unique locations and concepts. It has it's weak points for sure like the canto bight subplot which gets a bit lost at times, but I felt it earned it's right to be in the film when we see the broomboy at the end embodying Luke's final stand.

I suppose the *Canto Bight* part did introduce Broomboy, so there's that.

It's too bad that 'The Last Jedi' didn't end with Ren and Rey grasping hands and joining up, and the Resistance in the middle of a dire situation. Split things up with a conflict and a cliffhanger!

But Broomboy IS a forever ending.

(I still love the movie)

And once the child laborers already living on the planet (Broomboy and others) are liberated

But who had the better triumphant broom-raise moment? - BroomBoy in tLJ or Dorothy in Wicked: For Good? 🤔

(I like tLJ.)
