browsix.org should do the job.
Browsix: Unix in the browser tab
Run multiple, communicating C, C++, Go and Node.js programs in-parallel in unmodified browsers including LaTeX, GNU Make, Go HTTP servers, and POSIX shell scripts.

Not yet. But fuck yes. I'm so down.

I was thinking of trying to re-express CXL in the browser, for shits and giggles.

I really liked the systemd in the browser, systemgo. Browsix!!

For systemd on the web, years back UMass had Browsix, their own WANIX like userland posix-alike for the web.

And Browsix has systemgo, a go reimpl of something systemd shaped. Could definitely re-do or port to WANIX perhaps (or just start over).

I've had deep respect for the lightweight go reimpl of #systemd, running on #browsix, as a good demonstrator of introducing a manager, master control process #mcp to the web. Imagining booting your webapp's subsystems.
