The Måneskin Frontman Wed the American Singer-Actress in Montalcino, With a Two-Day Celebration to Follow.Damiano David, frontman of Italian rock band Måneskin, and American singer-actress Dove Cameron said "I do" on Thursday afternoon, September 24, in Montalcino, the small Tuscan hill town famous as the home of Brunello wine. The civil ceremony took place in the historic Palazzo dei Priori, the town's medieval municipal palace overlooking Piazza del Popolo, the same square long favored by celebrities marrying in the area, with Mayor Silvio Franceschelli officiating. The couple arrived together in a vintage Lancia Fulvia, both dressed head-to-toe in white: David in an open-collared double-breasted suit layered with a silk stole and no tie, Cameron in a white tailored ensemble with a belted waist, matching shirt and a thin tie of her own. As their car pulled up, Damiano stepped out first to open the door for his bride, who carried a bouquet of white calla lilies. The couple offered a brief wave to the crowd gathered outside before heading in to join roughly thirty guests already inside, who'd been sipping wine and spritzes while they waited. David's brother, Jacopo, served as his witness; a close friend stood as Cameron's. When the newlyweds emerged after the ceremony, the crowd erupted in applause and loudly demanded a kiss, which the couple delivered to cheers. A Love Story Kept Deliberately PrivateDavid, 27, born and raised in Rome, and Cameron, 30, an American singer and actress born Chloe Celeste Hosterman, met in 2022 at the MTV Video Music Awards, while both were still in other relationships. Their romance became public in 2023, but the couple kept most details of their life together, including where they actually lived, largely out of the spotlight until 2024. In earlier interviews, including one with Vogue, both have said they find genuine romance less in grand gestures than in shared daily routine: grocery shopping, cooking, washing dishes together. Though based mostly in Los Angeles, the couple splits time between there and Rome, David's hometown. Their engagement was announced publicly on January 3, 2026, through a series of photos shared on social media, following months of speculation after Cameron was spotted wearing a ring the previous autumn. The engagement rings themselves were custom-made in Italy by jeweler Alessandro Bernini. Formal marriage banns were posted in Rome on July 15, confirming the couple was indeed planning an Italian wedding, though the exact location remained unconfirmed until closer to the date. Where the Party ContinuesFollowing the civil ceremony, the couple and their guests moved on to Castiglion del Bosco, an exclusive five-star wine resort tucked into the Val d'Orcia countryside, where the real celebration is unfolding. The estate, part of the Rosewood Hotels group, has hosted its share of famous guests over the years, including Paul McCartney's 70th birthday celebration in 2012 and a visit from Barack Obama in 2017 for a round of golf. Roughly 200 guests are expected across the celebration, which is set to run through the weekend, with the couple staying at the resort until Sunday. Italian jewelry house Damiani confirmed that Cameron would be wearing its pieces for the occasion, one of the few official details released ahead of the big day, in a wedding otherwise kept under unusually tight wraps: no confirmed details on the couple's actual wedding-day outfits, floral design, or full guest list were released in advance. The Question Every Fan Actually Wants AnsweredFor Måneskin's global fanbase, one question has dominated speculation more than any other: would David's bandmates, bassist Victoria De Angelis, guitarist Thomas Raggi and drummer Ethan Torchio, show up for a reunion. As of the wedding day itself, none of the three had been spotted in Montalcino, though Italian outlets reported they were expected to arrive for Friday's reception at Castiglion del Bosco instead, keeping fans who'd traveled to the Tuscan town hoping for a glimpse still watching closely.
