I know exactly what you mean, off-brand BuddyL-style thing with a generic name, but annoyingly can’t find any pictures

Nothing against Tonka. But, I’m a BuddyL guy all the way.

I added some of the "last 17" Star Wars figures to my collection this past holiday, but my favorite gift from #Santa had to be this Buddy L Coca-Cola truck just like the one I had when I was 3 or 4. It just made my inner child smile!

The lore between Charger Tron is that of the two princes of the Rival moons of the planet Robotron who wish to take over as Emperor of Rob.... wait.... BuddyL literally just reused the lore for Robotron for Charger Tron, like, literally copy and pasted.

Charger Tron was another line of 80s transforming robots that was made by BuddyL, the same company that made Robotron. The Charger Tron line consisted of two toys, Protagatron and Antagatron. The gimmick was that the toys consisted of a charger and an attacker robot... 1/2

While it wasn't released under the Robotron line, BuddyL released the 4x4 Robot Rider in their Power Drivers toyline and marketed as like a troop transport for Robotron figures and other robot toys like Transformers and Gobots. It could drive and shine lights.

Robotron was a line by BuddyL, the same company who made Bug Bots and the Dinosaur collection. The line consisted of 6 different molds released in a variety of colors. It is suspected they originated from model kit companies Crown and Grand Model with the kits assembled... 1/2

Bug Bots was a toyline by BuddyL, the same company that made Robotron and the Dinosaur Collection/Dinotron. Just like the Robotron toys, these had pull back motors and released in a variety of seemingly random color combinations. BuddyL only released 4 figures in Bug Bots.

This is what they’re teaching kids in school these days. Reprehensible.

We rarely get 1920s toy trucks into the shop, but this month provided a nice surprise. #buddyL

I *screamed* at one of my very best friends last night. To the point our buddyl stepped in. I was, and still am, angry. I'll whoop his ass for not communicating. Talk to me and us you fucking idiot, we are here for you. (BTW my other buddy made the joke that he's never seen me be that big)
