I’ve been debating switching Xen to being originally from Sharlayan for a while. In some ways it fits him better; he’s a thinker and probably more educated than being in the Buduga tribe should allow. He jives with the scholarly and “modern” professions/gear. But I’d miss some things.

Yup !

I made his scales less annoying to draw and gave him a crooked nose to fight my sameface syndrome. The horns also became closer to his ig model.

He didn't change ig. I mod but apart from the teeth and haircut he's pretty much the same as without mods.

Argilenne does not actively seek out fights even when she is visiting the Azim Steppe but that does not mean when confronted by those wishing to conquer that she does not fight back nor does it stop her blood from pumping with adrenaline during and after a fight.

SASE TULUI OF THE BUDUGA TRIBE A steppe-born xaela, raised as a brutal, ruthless warrior. Son of a war shaman, he is still under his tutelage to become his successor. Clueless about life outside of his group, but intelligent enough to avoid senseless battles when he is by himself. Decent healer and mediocre seer. Practices mithridatism. Fights with magic at long-range and a macuahuitl at close range. Exact age unknown, should be in his early twenties. Occupation: Raider, war shaman in training. Personality: Proud, analytic, aloof, curious, sharp, distrustful, sadistic, bigoted. Addictive personality, lacks empathy. Likes: High places, listening to the wind, thunderstorms, drawing, storytelling, senseless violence, gold. Dislikes: Arguing, shepherds, people who are afraid of fighting, very cold weather. Abilities: Sword combat, horse riding, elemental magic, basic healing magic, mithridatism, Budugan shamanism. Relatives: His father: a shaman from the buduga tribe who adopted him while he was still a baby. Scent: Incense, sweat, and the pungent, earthy smell of smoking herbs. Most of his scales are dark blue instead of black or dark grey like most male xaela. His hair doesn’t grow on the head scales but covers most of them. He never cuts his hair and keeps his sidelocks always tied for religious reasons. He will sometimes tie his hair back in a ponytail, or attach ornaments to it, from jewelry to little trinkets made of bones or painted wood. He’s got long, snake-like fangs, and a split tongue. The split is a body modification and not a feature he was born with. His body and hair jewelry can vary, but the gold piercings on his face and horns are always present.He will often use green body paint before hunts or raids. His pupils are small and narrow, but will dilate like a cat’s depending on the situation.The eyes have transparent nictitating membranes, which give the illusion that he never really blinks. His forehead horn is a birth defect. It is hollow but without any opening leading through the skull, and thicker than the two main horns. Shedding of the outer layers is scarce and requires extra care. His two main horns are hollow and have no defects, the hearing is not altered. The solid part of left horn has been pierced to hold jewelry. If there is some slack, the object’s friction can be felt through the horn. The hole doesn’t affect his hearing. The spikes under his chin are prehensile, He can move them like fingers. It has no apparent purpose. His shoulder scales can open up, supposedly for intimidation or seduction. Whether it works or not is up for debate. His nape and tail feature long spines. They usually stay down, but will sometimes rise up if there are no clothes in the way. His tail plates are cartilaginous and slightly flexible. The underside of his tail is covered in extremely small scales, barely visible to the eye, that can be felt to the touch. He also owns a pet red panda. She was stolen from a caravan of merchants and he has kept her since then. She mostly eats, sleeps and poops, and occasionally fights her own tail. He never bothered to give her a name and shit talks her constantly for being a good for nothing waste of space. She is his second most precious thing.
