Rewatching the s6 Buffy The Vampire premiere. It's embarrassing how ill prepared the scoobies are for like 2 vampires.

i usually try to diversify my party builds but overseer is just too good. jae did fuckall in my og playthrough even if i loved her (my rt is *already* the officer buffbot) but her bird does WORK. makes her mediocre gun damage waaaay more forgivable; doesn't even need to use it to be useful

I have not done shit in housamo since I got did with the Ophion chapters but Im pretty sure I have buffbot Cait Sith alt from an anniv ticket and I always used him on my dailies so I think Ill level him and start back up with progression.
I also got og Shino 5* and Tez alt :3 my pookieeeees

yeah illusionist isn't a bad combo with it, agreed
tbh I mostly use cleric as buffbot and then make them stand out of the way while my kensai/mage or fighter/mage obliterates everything solo, with an occasional Delete Mage assist from Keldorn

Part of the beauty of running buffbot archetypes on my Travelling Boy/usually bringing a debuffer is that I would almost never miss an attack and the dopamine-pop of an enemy sometimes absolutely throwing the turn in kind by missing is immaculate

It's the kind of thing that's only *really* feasible way way later when you get pictos which can guarantee back-to-back turns for a character, like how Buffbot Sciel skyrockets in effectiveness.

pranged: brd! yes i am a buffbot pulling the raw numbers of a tank regardless of how well i do or don't play, but if you ignore that! it's so fun!!! (questionable in dungeons but mch and dnc are orders of magnitude worse and lbr i went healer for the fuckin insta pop again, or pct for brain off)

Yeah sometimes caster players, especially when coming from other editions, want to feel like they should have their own respectable offense instead of being the martials' dedicated buffbot.
But this is a massive, massive trap at low levels and completely cripples your power level. 😕
