I've been thinking about doing more bug-focused comics (not Bugtopia) because i miss drawing them, like a lot.

these characters aren't bugtopia related, BUT I did do a couple crossovers with my bugtopia ocs. And they're kinda bug-core so they're getting reposted here.

Y’know I’ve been thinking about drawing a comic with my Bugtopia characters at some point, specifically with Jasper and Milan

I'll be uploading my old Bugtopia comics daily. This does not mean the series will continue (for now, I'd like to put it to rest).

by the way, it just dawned on me now lol:
Have I posted any of the Bugtopia comics over here? The original ones, not the webtoon originals version.

Before Bugtopia was finished I actually had a planned comic where Tulip spends a day with her mom and her aunts (and hates it because none of them are menacing badass mantises)

Do people not know I unironically like bugs? Do they think its a gimmick? I keep getting comments telling me to take "Bug Enthusiast" out of my name because Bugtopia is finished so it goes against my "brand".
I had "Bug Enthusiast" before I made the webcomic.
Because I like bugs.

I made MaG as a way to draw something OTHER than bugs while I worked on Bugtopia but now that that series is finished, I feel a gaping bug shaped hole in my heart. I hope that changes in 2025. I gotta draw some bug demons.

It was a very frustrating period but ya know, after the way they treated me during Bugtopia it did feel like some more BS was around the corner, it’s just that my series was one of the most popular slice of life on there so it felt silly to leave

back when i was working on bugtopia originals, the idea i had for the new story (which was also going to happen in canvas) was that Cale would become obsessed with getting back with his awful wife and that obsession would turn into neglecting the emotional needs of his child.
