SB 6309 is permitting acupuncture. By allowing Sound Transit to purchase property while filing permits, it can cut 2 years off delivering light rail.

Email the board! Tell them to #BuildTheDamnTrains already, no more stalling, no taking Ballard off the list.
The best way to do that is to email the Sound Transit board right now and urge them to vote NO on the Somers resolution. They make it easy to email them: just send it to emailtheboard@soundtransit.org. Nice and simple!

It is our job as the public to demand that our elected leaders use every lever they have to build out our light rail system. We do not need to accept these options. The board can simplify station design, identify additional revenue and work towards better solutions. #BuildTheDamnTrains

Proud to be a part of a city government that is pushing towards lower costs system wide, so we can #buildthedamntrains from Ballard to Issaquah, and all points spine wide.
The Issaquah City Council just unanimously approved a resolution expressing a commitment to "supporting and streamlining permitting" for the future Sound Transit 4 Line. The resolution includes specific language around potential self-permitting in Issaquah for Sound Transit.
