Transformers G2 Power Master Bulletbike! Objectively a slightly sad toy but like the rest of his subgroup I’m inexplicably fond of him. Sure he’s got 0 articulation & can’t aim his guns but he’s got an interesting transformation & who doesn’t love a neon orange sidecar with a minigun mounted on it?

Tonight's late night Transformers room figure is G2 Bulletbike.
One of the best named characters, has quite possibly the least articulated figure of all time. On the plus side his Powermaster function works in either mode.
A truly terrible, but still somehow quirky fun figure.

Transformers G2 Power Masters! Though cancelled in the USA these pullback powerhouses brightened up much of the rest of the world (if only with their colours). Made by Hasbro without Takara input and you can REALLY tell. I’m very fond of them as despite their simplicity & soft sculpts they’re fun!

Yeah, these toys were endearing crap. But combining the pull-back-in-both-modes of the Throttlebots and the unlock feature of the original Power Masters is real peanut butter and chocolate time 8/10

Someone once said that Hasbro should've turned Legacy Crankcase into Ironhide, and they were right. If they ever do G1 Override, Bulletbike would make a fine retool.
We just launched a new podcast minisode all about the Generation 2 Power Masters and... well, just look at them, the poor sods. One of the few times where I picked up a set of Transformers toys and found myself thinking WHY

Someone once said that Hasbro should've turned Legacy Crankcase into Ironhide, and they were right. If they ever do G1 Override, Bulletbike would make a fine retool.
Take the G2 Power Masters, for example. People got harsh words for 'em. And yeah, they're throwbacks and the sculpting is soft.
But they WORK exactly as intended. As *toys*, they're fun. And those're some nice altmodes. So no, I would not call them bad at all.

Bulletbike was the first Transformer I owned that outright sucked. Ended a twelve year streak of nothing but amazing toys, and honestly I can't think of a single mainline TF released since that was worse.
