I’m in Burcot. I can hear the birds and traffic from the busy road. Kate Bush lives over the road apparently.

Off to Wittenham Clumps later.

The bit that is actually a shared use path from the end of the causeway to Berinsfield is incredibly half arsed, apart from the quarter arsed bit in Burcot where it narrows to about 75cm wide

Can we have some money to compulsorily purchase a metre or so of the land from the front gardens of the couple of houses in Burcot where the cycle path shrinks to about 75cm wide?
Some trees would, gasp, have to be cut down.

Well done. 👍 I rode some of the path near Burcot/A415 here in #Oxfordshire yesterday - bit of a state in places. In general the path seems v.rarely to be scheduled for regular maintenance, leading to encroaching margins, & surface damage. At least there was some long overdue clearing last year.

Wow! Never trust a search engine. Just did a search on the ‘Malt Shovel Burcot, Bromsgrove’ and it came up with this…
…it’s not been a pub in my lifetime and probably longer🙄

I would settle for compulsory purchasing about a metre of the front gardens of the 3 or so houses in Burcot on the cycle path from Clifton Hampden to Berinsfield where it narrows to about 75cm. No idea why this wasn't done when the path was put in.
