Megadeth had the best 90s of the Big 4 — RIP, CTE, Youth, Hidden Treasures, Cryptic Writings, and even if you gave Risk a 0/10 it still holds true. They’re also the only Big 4 band where you could make an argument that their 90s releases were better than their 80s, unless you’re a Bushthrax fan.

Bushthrax, LMAO. Yes, Anthrax sucked with John Bush. I see he's got a new band with former Exodus and Shadows Fall members. No interest for me, I am not an Armored Saint fan.

As for Fortitude I think Sphinx, Into the Storm, and Grind are ok.
The rest sound like either AC/DC or Bushthrax era stomp rock

Bushthrax is still Besthrax. Grateful to have seen this show and to have met @theunshored.bsky.social, but bummed that @db007.bsky.social couldn't be here with us, especially since this was all his doing. Another time, for sure.

I’ve actually moved on to Heal, feeding into my deep love of weird 90s thrash albums that are actually solid. This could have been the second best Bushthrax album after SOWN if they’d released it, imo.

That's cool
I suppose my other one would be interviewing John Bush about Armored Saint but he answered all my Bushthrax questions no bother
I was meant to have 15 minutes with him and instead it lasted about an hour

I draw a line between first 4 and next 4 — because it really was a different era. MTV videos & movie soundtracks —but they probably had the best 90s decade of the big 4. Though Bushthrax fans would argue differently, which is fine, but there’s no way Metallica or Slayer are even in the conversation

También soy del team Bushthrax por acá. Bush es infinitamente más versátil y potente que Beladonna, pero Scott Ian y Benante prefirieron irse por el camino fácil de la nostalgia. “White Noise” y “We’ve come for you all” son lo mejor de la banda, por lejos.

This is great, but omits both the cover of Ball of Confusion from Return of the Killer A's with Bush & Belladonna and The Greater of Two Evils, wherein Bushthrax in a weekend covered a bunch of Belladonna era songs and is literally the best Anthrax.

Features Writer Joel Barrios elaborates on the Bush years. They aren't a footnote in the Anthrax story... they're half the story.
