Thats an ancestor of mine. Former Union soldiers in Missouri (Baldknobbers) who had to vigilante (pure lawlessnes after the War) up against former Confederate Bushwackers (and thugs who worshipped Jesse James' murderous gangs) after the Civil War.

Just looking at these two bushwackers spewing absolute hogwash, I am convinced that there are drug addicts on horrible days that have still fared better than these two at this moment. Happy trails.
