Speaking Events & Podcasts
I regularly take part in speaking events, conferences and podcasts to talk about the power of kindness and the impact on individuals and organisations of simply noticing it more often. My style is warm, friendly and enthusiastic. Topics range from understanding what kindness is (and isn’t) and why it matters, to the power of ‘seeing kind’ and the habit-forming tips that will make you feel better, build better connections and help you to achieve more. My aim is to encourage and inspire my audiences about the positive impact that kindness has on individuals, workplaces and society as a whole. Plus leave them with practical ideas to introduce in their own lives. ## Book me for your event or podcast If you would like me to speak at your event or as a guest on your podcast, please get in touch and we can explore options together. Let me know the topic area you would like me to cover and whether you have a budget for speakers. ## Book me as a ‘warm-up act’ > It’s like an ice-breaker, without being one of those awful ice-breakers that make everyone cringe! > > Catherine, event participant If you are running an event, meeting or conference and need something a bit different to get the day started, I can run a 20 minute kindness stories activity that will raise the positivity and energy in the room. After setting the scene around kindness, I will encourage attendees to get chatting to the people around them, sharing the positive impact of kindness they have noticed in the world and/or their workplace. Get in touch to discuss how we can work together at your event. This is also a great exercise for organisations that have ‘kindness’ as one of their values but are struggling to articulate what that looks like in practice. ## Where to hear me speak The following list includes some of the places where you can hear me: * The Digital Download is a weekly panel conversation – I was invited to take part to chat with the panel about kindness being crucial to success in business and life. * On the Simon Cockram Presents… podcast, Simon and I discussed why kindness is a superpower, how it impacts success and why embracing empathy can transform your life. * The Comfy Chairs podcast with Kate Johnson. We talked about the impact of noticing kindness, on individuals and on the companies and organisations they work for. And I shared practical tips for seeing kind and bringing more positivity and hope into your life. * #TimTalk, a podcast for people who are curious and have a growth mindset – Tim and I discussed what counts as kindness, what isn’t kindness and how it benefits us to notice it * In 2023 I was delighted to be a speaker at the global online celebration of kindness, KindFest 2023. * The WorkJoy Jam podcast, where Beth Stallwood and I talk about the joy that noticing kindness can bring to your work and life (I’m episode 8 in series 7) * I have a regular slot on the Radio 210 podcast, sharing my kindness stories of the week * Kindness in the workplace and for leaders – the Talent First podcast with Michele Edmondson and The Talent Cycle podcast with Caroline Green * Anna Lubelska’s podcast via The Peace Building Get in touch to book me to speak at your event or on your podcast. ## Speakers Collective I’m delighted to be a member of the Speakers Collective, a community of speakers established in 2017 to challenge stigma, facilitate important conversations and promote learning on a variety of social issues. Find out more about the community by visiting the Speakers Collective website.

Wellbeing Workshops
Do you want to improve your people’s wellbeing and the way they connect and collaborate? Harnessing the power of kindness in your business or organisation will help you do that. When people notice kindness in their working and wider life: * They perform better and are more productive * They feel more positive and more hopeful more often * They feel more connected to colleagues * They are better able to face challenges, make decisions and find solutions This way of viewing the world comes easily to some, but for many people it is harder. The good news is that you can learn techniques and habits to help you notice, talk about and build upon kindness. My workshops teach people the habits to make that happen and create action plans to put the habits into practice. **When you see kind, you feel better.
