Every single one of 1,000 signed "Cav Books" sold out within 8 hours today, which is both phenomenal, but also entirely appropriate.
You can still get unsigned ones, which are (almost) as beautiful. But they're shifting very fast...

Having a LaserDisc Day
Enjoying a pile of Discs I picked up couple of months ago & put to one side
Some cracking BBC Releases I’d not seen before. A 5” CDV Clip Disc & a VCD, along with a LaserJuke Video Jukebox NTSC 8”
Also an Interactive CAV Disc of East of England Show 1984. Seems to be rare

Ok, so a few games I like suit 4 base battalions which is what I've made. However, others will be better at 6 bases so this required making more. This is the next 4 6 base battalions, the 8 flank bases for the lights, and the 8 flanks for the line. Also skirmish markers, additional cav and guns!

(L) U.S. officials in the summer of 2023: The Ukrainians need to mass armor and breach natural and manmade (fortifications) restricted terrain. Stop this lead with IN shit
(R): 1-8 CAV, 2/1 CD literally at the same time. We should consider using IN to pull armor forward in restricted terrain

Old US Kunar hands continued to rotate through the shrinking US footprint. Here CENTCOM commander Votel, his aide Ostlund, USFOR-A commander Nicholson, and former Nuristan cav squadron commander Mike Howard—all men with 2006-8 Kunar experience—pose at the Jalalabad Airfield memorial wall in 2017.

And then of course we graduate, both go to Korea, both get assigned to the same unit, and he's the other tank PL in my CAV troop.
8 years later I ran into him again at IJC in Kabul, and I won't say he was the reason I volunteered to go out to Herat, but he was part of it.

CSM Willing, 8-1 Cav, 5-2 SBCT. I had to search my memory to get his name but I can see him clearly. Like Sam Elliot but craggier, you could teach land nav using just his face.

We’re up to 8 rugs now, and Molly is so happy. 😂 The newest one, I got today, behind the recliners, is darker colors, but the same pattern. It’s the closest they had in that size, but it’s probably going to bother me that it’s different.
