My first bike, Honda CB300f, was cramped for my out-of-shape-body, so i was trying to decide what's next. The Triumph Street Twin was cheaper but the Bonneville T100 had way more legroom, as you can see.

Its fn miserable out, but still took thing 2 to look at a bike, and came home with a 2015 cb300f for him. Bought and paid for all by himself. He's proud, I'm proud. Should be a good bike for him to cut his teeth on. #motorcycle

Its been an adjustment after the 250cc <400 pound bike that we rode in the lessons for sure. I feel like a lot has to do with how assertive I start the counter-steering. Kid has a cb300f, and it's sooo nimble.

I rode my kids CB300F the last couple days, and I'm not having it. Too easy to get on my hands. If I am diligent and use my legs to grip that tank, it's OK, but not for any length of time.

Not a bad day off. Rode the CB300F about 25mi around town. Made some homemade chicken mayo onigiri for dinner and helped @notchrhino.bsky.social pull the engine out of his '83 CB1000C.

I only really have 3 bikes to compare. The Boule M50, a CB300f and a ZX4rr. The cb300 is vanilla as all hell. The other 2 are polar opposites. I love the Harley sound. But have yet to ride one.

I think it's best to prioritise the gear, then the bike.
My first bike was a CB300f, cheapest decent highway capable bike I could find (new). IT was a wonderful bike.
Sadly, nobody really explained to me about gear, so I rode with a shitty jacket and cheap helmet.
So much I wish I knew then...
