For the record, the Digital Services Tax received Royal Asset on June 20, 2024 and came into force on June 28, 2024. The first payment is due Monday. Despite the whiner from the CCIA saying it doesn't apply domestically, you can see from below that it absolutely does. Europe also has similar laws.

The plaintiffs, Netchoice/CCIA, argue (correctly) that this is unconstitutional interference with the First Amendment-protected editorial discretion of the websites to decide what speech they want to host. It's unconstitutional for multiple reasons.
