I perioden 10-12. september arrangerte Colorado Drug Investigators Association (CDIA) sin årlige «Training Summit» i Vail i Colorado. Arrangementet samlet 300 deltakere og kan sammenlignes med vår egen årlige konferanse. Fra oss deltok styremedlem Kay Roger Godsveen og generalsekretær Oddgeir Høyekvam. Sistnevnte holdt under åpningen et innlegg om rustrender, ruspolitikk og liberalisering i Europa. CDIA har medlemmer fra politi, kriminalomsorg, påtalemyndigheten og annet kvalifisert personell fra lokalt, statlig og føderalt nivå. Vi ser det som viktig å opprettholde gode relasjoner til søsterorganisasjoner i andre deler av verden, og takker CDIA for invitasjonen.
