That brief period in the late 90's where they decided that CDs needed a data component was a scourge on the world.

Trying to rip certain CDs from that period is an absolute nightmare.

I got fed up of bad results and slow searches from search engines when getting album art for when I rip CDs. Plus I don't own a scanner, so I decided to make a quick script to grab the art from the iTunes API.

Upgrading my #CDRipping #DriveTower from #USB2 to #USB3. I use a 10 port USB hub, and plus a separate USB3 to #eSATA adapter into each port. Then each white adapter gets it's own small eSATA to #SATA adapter. Then a regular SATA cable connecting that to the #OpticalDrive. #CDTransfer #CDCopy
