From cardiac arrest in Emergency almost 2 weeks ago, then CICU care to stabilize me well and long enough to get surgery yesterday. .

Noticeable improvement began immediately after surgery.
If everything checks out today, 3 month recovery at home begins.
Thankfully taking it easy is my thing.

If the patient doesn’t want visitors, the hospital has to honor that or it’s a HIPAA violation. And if he’s in intensive care or the CICU, only immediate family can visit.

I concur! I spent 5 days in the CICU and the only thing the hospital gave me at the end of the day was superb care.

Someone's ECG monitor beeped loudly about something and I watched 6 (!) CICU nurses simultaneously leap to their feet and RUN to the bedside and we don't deserve nurses. 💞 💫 😇

Today my husband & I visited the CICU nurses & doctors who saved my husband’s life during a 3 month hospitalization with a 5% chance to live. His Dr suggested we go up after our visit as some therapy for us and especially for them. Wow, what an experience! Tears all around from us and them 🩵🫶🏻

My favorite food truck in Las Cruces (well, Doña Ana) has announced they are retiring. The had the best posole verde & top 5 asado verde burritos in the area. We LIVED off their food when dad was in the cicu.

Možná to byl den na čiču, ale měla jsem kafe, vzala dítko ven, koupila si taiwanský koláček (a vdechla ho během chvíle), je sluníčko a já s hřeju na lavičce u hřiště.
Špatná nálada si může... trhnout:)

People are always telling me that they are impressed with how well I handled my heart attack. They didn't see me sobbing in the middle of the night with my head on my knees in the CICU. Nobody handles a heart attack well. Nobody.

Today I delivered pastries to my OR team, my CICU team, and my Cardiac Unit team.
I will continue to do so every time I go to the hospital for the rest of my life.

Znači, samo ako smo za čiču a ne za obnovu kralja. Ni čiča ne bi bio danas za njih, jer su prodane duše i izdali su svoje generale. Samo izBosne su pravi i tada i sada.
Posledica ovoga će biti da svaki put kad uzmem origano, misliću na čiču i bosnu i generale.
