The Datsun 1000 was the first Japanese car assembled in Europe (around 1968, but can't find exact date) at the Movauto plant in Setúbal, Portugal. Movauto was a big plant tahg used to assemble CKDs for several manufacturers, including Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Mercedes.

Maybe the first version of the RHD GM Canada CKDs assembled in Australia by GM Holden. Definitely the first time I've seen a Pontiac Laurentian! There used to be an early 60s Parisienne a few houses down from my home I admired every day walking to school. Repost due to poor spelling🤣 #weirdcarbs

A very rare Belgian-built Chevrolet Camaro. Between 1966 and 1968 GM built some 2,000 products at its Opel Antwerp facility, mainly Camaros, Impalas and Firebirds. Most used body pressings from Canada shipped over as CKDs.

Yes again - there are so many disease specific mechanisms of Flozins in IgA which maybe different from other CKDs and their exact science of benefit is not tapped yet

Workers in Westmoreland county, Pennsylvania training on assembling Volkswagen Rabbits in 1977. The cars were CKDs from Wolfsburg. Full production at the New Stanton plant began in April 1978 with round headlights used for only a few months before being replaced by square sealed beams.

An early Freightliner Sprinter in the locality. These were built in South Carolina from semi CKDs; the third-generation was built from full CKDs. Production ended in 2021 when Freightliner was divested. It built the Dodge version too, in first and second gen guises, until 2009 after DCX dissolved.
