#CLAS2026
If classroom tech disappears tomorrow, what actually happens to learning?
InnovateEDU teamed up with Common Sense, @cosnweb.bsky.social, & Park Hill Schools at #CLAS2026 to explore if removing tech solves problems, or just shifts them. The recording is now live! Watch at: tinyurl.com/bdzbsm6u
Think Tank: The Screen Time Paradox
The debate over screens in schools has moved far beyond smartphone bans. Some educators and researchers are now calling for the elimination of classroom technology altogether, including Chromebooks, tablets, and the digital platforms built into daily instruction. We explore the evidence on both sides, examine what students might gain or lose in a screen-free classroom, and ask the harder questions: what problem are we actually trying to solve, and does removing the technology solve it or just move it somewhere else?
