Also the only reason the CLCPA / other progressive legislation passed is because we voted out the IDC, which Cuomo enabled because he didn’t want to sign any progressive legislation

What is @nyserda.bsky.social 's plan to meet CLCPA goals? It certainly looks like Trump will be able to stop offshore wind, so the only way left to green the NYC/Hudson Valley grid is with renewables from upstate. That will take MORE new transmission than we'd need if had offshore wind, not less.
⚠️ News: NYSERDA cancels contract with Clean Path NY, one of the two major transmission lines meant to bring clean energy to NYC.
The project has already been on the ropes for a while. Unlike CHPE, which will bring hydropower from Quebec, Clean Path depends on new renewables being built upstate/
