Fighting EX Layer is 99 cents on Steam, has like 500% more sauce than CoTW, ALSO has Terry Bogard, and was made by a dev presumably not owned by real life Geese Howard. Just get that instead. 😋✨

proud of everyone looking @ that 4 dollar cotw and correctly assessing it wouldnt even be worth it for free given the, again, outright sexual assaulter in the roster among other issues but id go further & say if you have the means that 4 dollars should go towards someone's mutual aid, in this moment

Between him playing CotW and just generally talking out of his ass all the time I am not shocked in the slightest that he continues the trend of not caring what he gives his attention to

I've talked to folks before how my biggest disenchantment from Max and his videos was when he made a whole deal about turning down the EVO collab/promo after the Saudi buyout and like "ok, good on him for taking a stand" and not even a week later he was streaming CotW on Ganacci again, like, dude.

CoTW is the epitome of this kind of problem. Suddenly millions of dubious blood dollars come in and tell you the game you thought was deader than dead is back with a full on sequel; people who love Garou are compromised and REALLY just want that sequel and now it’s alive but in the worst way

I stopped watching any of his (and many other people's) videos after deafening silence over Saudi sportswashing with EVO and CotW. The FGC only gives a shit about fighting games and nothing else.
Although I think they do care, I feel this lamenting kind of comes off inauthentic from all the hyping over the last month from vibecoded mods for SF4 and T6.
Like broadcasting to thousands, “PLEASE USE CLAUDE TO DO MORE OF THIS” and then going, “Oh, poor people can’t have a hobby anymore”.
