Councilmember Dan Strauss put out a statement tonight claiming the mayor "promised" she wouldn't veto his bill. He also decried her "lack of leadership" in choosing to veto his RV ban. The council will now schedule a vote on whether to overturn the veto; the bill passed 6-3.

Targeting Jewish businesses in America as responsible for the acts of a foreign government is unjust, illogical and counterproductive. The antisemitism involved here is dangerously inciting.

Every Democrat should now have a staff member who exists solely to stand behind them with a rolled-up newspaper. Anytime they try to say anything like "return to normal", "reach across the aisle", or "bipartisanship"; staff whaps them on the nose saying "NO!". A squirt bottle is also acceptable.

Home Secretary confirming refugees who go through the asylum system will start at a 20 year route to settlement - but with 10 more years if they arrived irregularly. So many, many refugees will face a 30 year wait for settlement, all while facing reviews every 2.5 years.
