Last week, Monash Uni and think tank The Consumer Policy Research Centre (CPRC) dropped the "Playing the Player" report. It's a really interesting survey-based study of 800 people who play games.

what shines through, to me, is that while landlords overwhelmingly see themselves as "providing an essential service" they avoid accountability for the obligations that kind of service provision requires. they want a pat on the back for doing a ~good deed~ without the work or responsibility

...but was not related to them. He killed the 4 because he claimed they had been bullying him.

In this particular case, the CPRC would NOT consider this shooting for their reports. Despite the fact that it happened in gun-friendly Texas and most definitely is a "mass shooting"...

I get it, Hughes and Lerma offer a physical presence against a tough side, but we’ve seen a Hughes/Lerma midfield fail to be creative many times before.

Hopefully Johnson at wing back compensates for that? But again, he’s struggled a lot too.

So, the CPRC releases reports from time to time in an effort to prove that gun-free zones are the real cause of mass shootings, and they always put out alarming numbers like "97% of mass shootings happen in gun-free zones."

But a few years back, I looked at their methodology and found it...odd.
