Such a cool paper from Tian Dong and Lawrence Vulis (who met at the CSDMS ESPIn summer academy!), "Apparent Hack’s law in river deltas" just published in Science demonstrates relationship between delta's growth/change and distributary channel length. www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...
