British CalcBC teacher here! We expose students to a quite narrow definition of point of inflection in the U.K., so they’d struggle with that. Also that integral form of the Fundamental Theorem is a real focal point in Calc BC. Not so much in A-Level? They might not know what to do with it…

Wrapping up the semester, this is the first year where "math" is not the thing I teach. While I do teach CalcBC and monitor a MV independent study class, I teach more computer science classes. Somedays, I find myself working in 4 different languages (Java, Javascript, Python, Linux). Best year ever.

Liking my #2012 classes: Econ, APLit, APGov are great… love discussion classes. Chinese, CalcBC… meh. We'll see about Journalism tomorrow...
