William Black and Corvin, William's raven familiar 🐦‍⬛

I think the next time I have a chance to do my monthly short story speedrun, I'll do William next!

#Sketch #CalicoCocoaIllust #OCart
A short haired young man who looks like he's in his late trees. He has short hair and is wearing a mage's cloak and a leather arm brace. Sitting atop the brace is raven.

#WIP character sheet of my OC, Matilda!

I wanted to do a little turnaround for her since I wanted to try making little portraits/sprites and I am awful at remembering to add things (like that plaster missing from her side view LMAO).

#CalicoCocoaIllust #OCSky #OriginalCharacter
A mostly finished turnaround character reference for Matilda. She's a young girl with brunette hair and brown eyes wearing rain boots, a rain jacket, shorts and a small pendant on her left chest that vaguely resembles a fairy. She has two plasters on her legs.

Enjoy Heat Abnormal × my OC Mirsisi

Would he absolutely hate it in that timeline/song? Absolutely, but that doesn't mean I don't love a whole song dedicated to someone's dying message :')

#CalicoCocoaIllust #OriginalCharacter #OCArt
The finished illustration of the sketch from the previous post. It features Mirsisi and his tiny drake, Pelt, as comets shoot through the sky behind him. Mirsisi stands, holding a recorder in his right hand, and starts to put it down as he looks at the viewer. He's a dark skinned man with long dark hair pulled up into a messy bun behind his head. He has heterochromia with one golden eye and one silver eye. He's wearing a white jacket with green accents and a golden emblem of a bow and arrows over his left chest. Pelt, the small drake perched on Mirsisi's shoulders, has a very long tail and is light blue, almost white. He has various crystalline shards jutting out of its head and on its forearms.

Trying to get back into character illusts after being chained to doing architecture drawings for the past half a year.

Might finish this one, might not. Depends how addicted I will be to Heat Abnormal (inspo for the illust) in a week 😩

An illustration of three warbling white eyes, green and white birds with white eye rings, in a cherry blossom tree. Two of the three warblers are perched on top of flowers. The third one peeks out of the bottom right corner and gazes at the viewer. It's holding a flower in its beak for the viewer.

I know that they're not *all* ptarmigans but my friend called them Partimigans and I love it and kind of want to name the finished piece that? 😂

#WorkInProgress #WIP #CalicoCocoaIllust 🪶
A work in progress illustration of a ruffed grouse, a spruce gruce and a white-tailed ptarmigan by Calico Cocoa. All three birds are wearing party hats. The white-tailed ptarmigan flies in behind the other two birds, in the foreground, with a paper party horn.
