23/ And these links involved a curious program: the “Culture of Freedom Initiative.”

"COFI" had a mission: connect Cambridge Analytica’s data science with an app company named Gloo, based in Boulder, Colorado. The goal? Create a church-based microtargeting platform called “Insights.”

Cambridge psychologists tried something radical: making a positive case for EU immigration.

It worked – spectacularly.

I usually write under the pen name Mike Benton, but switched it up this time. Unfairly hot prof is actually based on a certain ornithopod worker but switched Cambridge to Oxford to cover my tracks.

A short, human story about a Polish NHS nurse shifted British voters’ views on EU migration by 20 points.

Cambridge researchers say: hearts can be changed – if we try.

Today in planes are unacceptably cheap and trains are unacceptably expensive: the return flight for my next Cambridge-Glasgow trip is sixteen quid.

The whole thing is fifty. The cheapest comparable train is a hundred and thirty.

Purely conscience-based modal shift might take a while, eh.

This painting is based on a queue for a Cambridge May Ball. The two young women are handing out flowers. It was bought by a friend as a present for a wonderful Irish lady who runs a guest house in Cambridge and it hangs there.

It’s utter chaos! When I was living in Cambridge I would occasionally encounter a stroppy old man who would say “we walk on the left!” but that was clearly a lie based on the behavior of the rest of his countrymen.

I need to write solarpunk about an America in which there's a rather solid state flagship with 50,000 students based at Harvard Square, called the University of Massachusetts, Cambridge.
Classic: “Defendants argued that considering student wealth in admissions was not a violation of the law, which required instead that universities would not discriminate against poorer students because they needed financial aid, and that the plaintiffs are attempting to redefine it.”
A new suit against 17 universities alleges:

– Georgetown's president flagged 80 applicants every year for special admission.
– MIT had a list for rich students who otherwise wouldn't get in.
– Penn had a similar list for those with connex to donors and/or the board.

#FindsFriday This fabulous little figurine of a woman was found in Egypt from ~3000BC

But based on the pose she was probably carved in Mesopotamia

Buuuut she's made from Lapis Lazuli from Afghanistan!

Quite a journey!

What happened in the new Southern General is a tragedy for those affected, but it's worth saying that when something similar happened in Papworth Hospital in Cambridge, the BBC did not try to politicise it the way they are doing now.

Hey all, do I have any UK based concept artists following me (or who knows anyone) who would be up for a long term 22 month contract working on Dragonwilds at Jagex? Remote with a very occasional day in office in Cambridge. Development experience and fantasy genre work is a must. Mid level role.
