I agree but I would also hope DND has some doomsday scenarios. Get CanGov leadership ready to move into exile. Move RCN assets to friendly ports in Europe or AUS. Rebase the RCAF to Europe except for tactical lift helos. Disperse the army to provide an insurgency nucleus. Etc.
