My understanding is that control of "Concessions" in this case means OPERATING RIGHTS which likely puts AMERICAN CORPORATION #MorganStanley in charge of all terminals & other airport facilities, maintenance, expansion & likely all commercial activities including parking & property leases #cdnpoli

The Why is that it's easy to sell off things you didn't pay for then use that money for other stuff you really want, like a new pipeline. All additional costs/expenses for airports AND pipelines go to taxpayers while your rich pals rake in the dough. In short: Bankers Gotta Bank #cdnpoli #MarkCarney
I do not understand the 'why' of this. Private equity ruins everything - job losses, service quality declines, prices increase - they pillage and plunder. They do not reinvest. Nothing makes sense to me about this. Carney is moving too fast on this.
