Today's hat is the Kannapolis Cannonballers, the single-A team for the Chicago White Sox. They have a top 5 logo (and Boomer the mascot is also elite). I live 10 miles from their park, so I get to a fair amount of games. Bonus: Kacey Betty, the GM's pup, as their batdog 🙂

Today's hat is a throwback, too: the Piedmont Boll Weevils, who played from 1996-2000 in the old South Atlantic League and eventually becoming the Kannapolis Cannonballers. I saw them come through Columbia SC a couple of times back when I lived there. Definitely an all-timer of a team name.
