This hotel recognizes the benefits of having a REX IUNIOR crowned in his father's lifetime to guarantee a smooth, undisputed succession (in theory...)

Having listened to podcasts about the Merovingians and Capetians time to listen to one about the Carolingians

Back with those calamitous Capetians, this time featuring more intrigue across the Channel and (so far) less rounding up of recalcitrant Cardinals!

Thinking about how the Capetians forced the Merovingians to cut their hair

My next book explores the story of one of the most influential French dynasties, the Capetians. House of Lilies: The Dynasty that Made Medieval France by Justine Firenhaber-Baker.

My ancestors the Plantagenets and Capetians literally used comedians for such news

My ancestors were the Plantagenets Monteacutos Of Man and Capetians (Main Line) we literally hired clowns to insult our failures & give us what we needed to know to do better, if Trump can't handle the Jester Fool Advice, then he has no right to be a King or a President, he is an unworthy Hurenkind
“You’re the first guy in America who’s lost his show because we got a president who can’t take a joke.”

“And because Larry and David Ellison feel they need to kiss his ass to get what they want.”

Well if she's saying that billionaires were raised by Jesus, I wonder who raised me since I'm a descendant of Plantagenets Carolingians Mevorigians Rurikids Árpáds Ottonens Savoyards Capetians and Dunkelds, maybe I was raised by Attlia The Hun 🤗
White-Cain: Many people don’t know about the upbringing of President Trump. He went sometimes three times a week to Saturday and Sunday school.

Selecting books for my Medieval Europe course next fall. A couple newer releases I'm considering. One on the Carolingians, one on the Capetians.

How did France become Buddhist? Well, while I was fending off Genghis Khan and his sons, a cadet branch of the Capetians became Buddhist somehow, managed to install one of themselves on the throne of France, and, through a series of civil wars, converted or replaced the rest of the French nobility.

I blame the Capetians

Anyways, I've been reading "House of Lilies" which is a book overview of the Capetians for a general audience, which is pretty neat, since I think there's such a bias towards the English side of things in medieval history in the anglophone world. However...

Are there any good readings available about Junior Kingship? The most I've read is from Matthew Strickland's Henry the Young King which talks about the tradition being taken from the Capetians, but when I try to look up about Capetian co-crowning it only talks about Hugh Capet #medievalsky

Anyways I'm Allie Pascal! I draw historical 12th century RPF, Plantagenet-Angevins, Capetians, medieval yaoi, with the occasional other place and era. Sometimes serious, sometimes sexy, always goofy.

I've recently made an art book compiling my work (link below)

the peak for this is the capetians at the start of Louis the fat's reign. it's incredibly funny to be nominally king of a country you can't even leave the capital of cause you'll be killed by some baron. also good look getting to the coronation, you've gotta get to Reims, best travel in secret

What if you gave the nearly unrestrained power of the late Romanov’s to a man with the mental faculties of the weakest 100 Years War era Capetians and put him in charge of the largest military and economy on earth? Would that be good?
