The only WaPo thing I look at anymore is CapitalWeather. Otherwise, it's dead to me, along with NYT.
The decline of the Washington Post is sad, not least because it’s a deliberate choice. It’s bad for media, bad for politics, bad for the country.

But the famous hold-power-accountable newspaper is gone.

Take a lesson from zombie stories: That’s not WaPo, even if it appears superficially similar.

still have to use it for capitalweather and I see people I miss talking to but also I’m like why are they still posting on a far right propaganda network so there are no good answers. This website will never be what Twitter was in its heyday. People looking for that are either dishonest or confused.

The kids over @capitalweather have declared this lousy winter over. To celebrate, we've cleared 14th Street North between North Uhle and North Courthouse Road. Farmers market horses are pleased.

Thanks to @capitalweather for this breakdown of the conditions we're seeing across the region. https://wapo.st/464M67y

Sending gratitude for all the public servants and contractors working around the clock to clear our streets and keep Alexandria safe!
Analysis | Why the winter storm in D.C. on Sunday was so exceptional
The storm was a notable one — not simply because of how much precipitation fell but also because of what fell and how cold it was when it fell.

Brilliant #auroraborealis from Fisher Beach in Truro, Massachusetts, looking north towards Provincetown. And maybe you can see a single #Perseid meteor streak on the Big Dipper's bowl on the left side. #northernlights @capitalweather
