#TheBigSpout was at its full height today and looking very marvellous. Unlike the creature in the foreground of the first image. #Canberra #LakeBurleyGriffin #CaptainCookMemorialJet #TheOutside
A selfie featuring me in the foreground on the right wearing my sunglasses and an N95 mask with the Patrick White lawn stretched out behind me down to Lake Burley Griffin, which you can just spot behind the rows of trees in the background and above it just to the left of my head is the Captain Cook memorial jet against the blue sky with a little dotting of clouds just around the top of the flow. This photo doesn’t feature me. You’re welcome. Zoom in to capture a slightly closer version of the Captain Cook Memorial jet on the left with the wind causing the water to curtain a little. A small boat can be seen through the trees on Lake Burley Griffin on the right. Two cranes are in the background on the right. In the foreground the Patrick White lawn leading down to the lake with a row of trees and you can just make out benches along the walking path around the lake. The sky is blue there’s a little sprinkling of cloud in the sky. The trees are lovely bushy green and the grass is going that light green colour that it does in an Australian summer, just before it gets dehydrated and light brown.
