Cardiff’s bus system is pretty good. It has a tracking app that works pretty well. Until it doesn’t. The mystery of the rush hour bus that simply vanishes from the app after it was meant to arrive is particularly frustrating when I’ve hurried to get to the stop on time. @cardiffbus-bot.bsky.social

I'd completely forgotten that today is National Bus Ticket Day*.
Here's how @Cardiffbus tried entering the 20th Century 49 years ago.
They didn't stay in use for long, probably because kids like me tried to get the longest ticket possible.
