I've a huge soft spot for MacNeice, not just because of his wonderful poetry, but also because he's buried about 100 ft from my Da, Granny, Step-Mum, 2 sets of aunts and uncles and sundry great aunts, uncles and distant cousins. There were a wild amount of McKeags in Carrowdore.

I had them about the front door a couple of years ago and had to get someone. There's a guy in Carrowdore who will deal with them quickly if you need that.

I had a slightly miserable childhood (cos of mental health stuff, not cos of any genuinely negative external stuff), but I do have fond memories of that house and playing on the rocks by Ballyvester beach. It's a shame my parents moved to Carrowdore, which is a hole.
