At the May 15 meeting the commission approved the Carter County 911 contract ($265,885), an EMS contract ($777,470.21, passed 22–1), multiple budget amendments and a lease with Skybest Communications for broadband infrastructure; routine resolutions and donations also passed.

The Carter County Commission unanimously approved a package of budget amendments, purchase orders and donations, including a $6.5 million bond fund amendment, multiple smaller fund transfers, a consulting contract and community donations. Several items passed with no extended debate.
