The other is Caify which gives random access to huge chunks of binary data where a single block is guaranteed to never exceed the block size.
It also supports fully random access to the binary data. This is done with recursive index blocks.
It might be a CARv2 alternative.

that's the plan. i think CARv2 has a zip-like central directory so that u dont have to scan the blocks to get offsets but atproto is CARv1 soooo whatever
