On top of this rocky hill, there are the #ruins of a #medieval #castle. Before the keep collapsed, from afar you could see like two horns emerging from the top. Fortunately, the ruins have been protected since then.

Beyond some rows of trees, a rocky hill rises on the horizon against a cloudy gray sky. The summit is as if split in two in the middle. The top of the rocky hill. The ruins of a castle can be seen on one of the two halves into which the summit is divided. The hill seen from the opposite side, from afar. Against the gray sky, the ruins of the castle form two straight horns.

Ruins of the Acquafredda medieval #castle. The climb to the top of the hill is very steep but not difficult and the view is worth the effort.
The history of this castle is linked to a historical figure who is also mentioned in Dante's Divine Comedy! ALT
