1) German antisemitism had deep roots in Protestantanism as much if not more than Catholicism.
2) Nazis antisemitism was biological/scientific racism not religious.
3) the Catholic Church was much more deeply tied to Fascist Croatia and Slovakia than Germany.

Action against the Roman Catholic Church -- literally where the Nazis learned everything about hating the Jews -- is well overdue. The Church should have been dealt with properly at the end of WWII, and then there would never have been any need to create the state of Israel.

St Peter’s in York, likely influenced his conversion to Catholicism though is family had mixed religious ties. His involvement in the Eighty Years War fighting for Catholic Spain against Dutch Reformers also played it's part. Fawkes though is a complex character with multiple motivations
