The thing I'm most proud of in the #CelestialSignsVN update is how well the new menus turned out. It's always exciting to see improvement in an area I'm not super confident in.
Settings menu for Celestial Signs. Stars hang on either side of the screen to access the other menus. A moon in the center of the screen allows the player to quit the game.

In #CelestialSignsVN you can choose the protagonist's name if you wish, but such a choice comes with it's own pain and regrets.

#visualnovel #vndev #indiedev
Choice menu saying, "The name they use is:" The choices are "My given name, Aries" and "A chosen name" with Aries highlighted. "Aries. A gift from my mother, carefully selected with consultation from the village elders" "A chosen name" is highlighted. "[Blank]. A name I have carefully chosen for myself. My given name holds too many memories--a burden I can no longer carry."

Shellsea says, "I mean my kind loves flattering each other and saying what we think the other person wants to hear because we want them to give us the reaction we're looking for."
