Ok large format folks I need help. What’s a good large format camera to consider? I prefer something portable (I can walk with it in a backpack) and well made. Would it be a Chamomix or Linhof? I want to take large format nature photos.

Thanks. I won' t manage it this year. Hopefully next year. We are going to Geneva, Annecy and Chamomix next. Annecy was on my bucket list for quite some time. We went to Vienna and Salzburg last year. We loved it.

I will never understand Leon's rapacious need for more.
If I had his billions, I'd buy houses in Hawaii, Crested Butte, Chamomix, and Costa Brava... And disappear while the charities I set up worked to end homelessness and disease.

Hätte mit auch gewünscht, dass Kanada gewinnt. Konnte vor kurzem Eiskockey auch nicht viel abgewinnen, bis ich letztes Jahr zufällig auf einem Spiel in Frankreich in Chamomix war. Die Stimmung war so gut und das Spiel ist irgendwie irre. Hat Spaß gemacht. Mit den Kids jetzt öfter bei Spielen.

Hätte mit auch gewünscht, dass Kanada gewinnt. Konnte vor kurzem Eiskockey auch nicht viel abgewinnen, bis ich letztes Jahr zufällig auf einem Spiel in Frankreich in Chamomix war. Die Stimmung war so gut und das Spiel ist irgendwie irre. Hat Spaß gemacht. Mit den Kids jetzt öfter bei Spielen.

okay i did some more research and chamomix c8 is probably better for me. difference seems to be shimano nexus 8 vs alfine 8 hub gear and i think i'm ok with the nexus 8 if that makes it like 20% cheaper
mb if they had the brand i had previously (BSP) i would have just gone for it but they had gazelle and koga bikes and i don't have experience with them tbh (at least not recently)
i did like the look of the gazelle chamonix s8... koga stuff was a bit too pricey for me
