One village two Lions. Cheddleton has a Black and Red Lion. A pint of Beartown (Congleton, Cheshire) Spring Cleaning in the former. Bass in the latter is 👌 Well worth the slightly tricky journey by public transport out to Staffordshire Moorlands

The funeral I attended yesterday was lovely. I briefly went back home to Cheddleton, it was a beautiful day & had wonderful conversations with friends I hadn’t seen in many years. What utterly shocked me is this Church is going to permanently close soon, it’s a treasure to the community & shouldn’t!
