I think it’s interesting to compare the responses to Kojima’s stupid AI ad (half disappointment -!: half what CheeseGX is describing) vs what the reaction to Jorge R. Gutierrez making an AI cartoon for Amazon (more heartfelt disappointment and anger)
Entirely unsurprising that Kojima is working Reffen to promote that Prada AI thing dude has always been a sucker for stuff his idols hop on. But, it’s lead to many Bluesky moments™️ with people posting the usual “erm, mgs was never good, it was saved by localization” talking points.

Did I just spend a good amount of money to import the DVD of a film with no good quality rips online as well as an entire JP novel series plus a JP only PC SRPG from 1999 for the sake of a video no one is going to watch? Just might be ! ! ! ! ! !

Here's an interview I did about my vocal (& guitar) work with Yoko Kanno on the anime series Cowboy Bebop, Ghost In The Shell, Wolf's Rain and others. My bit starts at 27:20 but there is some good stuff before it too...

After I finally get this Alexander video out I have some smaller side ideas but from that point on im locking in on doing as much of the Mazinger vid each month as I can get myself to do. Any friends/mutuals with intrest in contributing to voice or art (paid) hit me up here or CheeseGX on discord.

oh right I never posted the explanation of the term GAO YU here
![Tweet from CheeseGX (@CheeseGX_)
Had a dream a while back that @ScrewyClassic [me] owned some new emulation handheld called the GAO YU, when I asked him to explain why he got one he stuttered his way into showing me that he bought 5 of them instead of telling me its feature set, it was a little too in character tbh💀](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:rwa725k63i3pdybb74zubckh/bafkreidalsl5ponvjzbvqox6ytjbmti7xmlwyuuoojdp5fcuztgw4sbpde)

Someone has uploaded the promotional Custom Robo anime from 1999 and gave it subtitles. The OVA was a mail order gift sent to readers of Korokoro Comic as part of promotion for the game. That's pretty cool!

It varies for me. Sometimes it’s classic rock/anime ops I enjoy, other times it’s audio/clips from a bunch of my fav shows.
Some more recent ones have been Legends of Avantris, Tale Foundry, and this really well made Getter Robo retrospective. youtu.be/B8OKlITEXRQ?...
