Almost two weeks after Super Typhoon Sinlaku hit the Northern Mariana Islands, many families remain without power. WCK teams are supporting families on Tinian by providing ice & water for drinking and storing food. Access to ice means families can begin cooking for themselves again. #ChefsForTinian

Meals made with love are more vibrant! On Tinian, where families are still recovering from the destruction caused by Super Typhoon Sinlaku, WCK teams are working with local restaurants like JC Cafe. They're serving up delicious meals like lechon kawali with fina’denne’ sauce. #ChefsForTinian

During Super Typhoon Sinlaku, Matthew lost access to water and the ceiling of his kitchen collapsed. That's when his neighbors from WCK arrived with hot meals so he could focus on cleanup. This is what makes communities strong—neighbors supporting neighbors in difficult times. #ChefsForTinian

Thank you, @wck.org for assisting CHamoru and other communities of Micronesia.
Reader, please give if you can to support a swift recovery in the South Pacific. (Just because the US military is ^their footprint certainly doesn't mean Indigenous survivors are getting what they need.)
